Diagnostic Test

CHECK FOR AN ACTIVE DTC
1. With the scan tool, read Amplifier DTCs and record on the repair order.
2. With the scan tool, erase DTCs.
3. Using the When Monitored and Set Conditions above, operate the vehicle in the conditions that set the DTC.
4. With the scan tool, read Amplifier DTCs.
  Did the DTC return?
  
  Yes
  - Go To 2
  No
  - Perform the TESTING FOR AN INTERMITTENT CONDITION procedure. Refer to TESTING FOR AN INTERMITTENT CONDITION .
RIGHT FRONT TWEETER ELECTRICAL CONNECTION CHECK
1. Turn the ignition off.
2. Disconnect the Right Front Tweeter and Amplifier harness connectors.
3. Check for the presence of loose or damaged connections at the Right Front Tweeter and Amplifier harness connectors.
  Were there signs of any of the connections being loose or damaged?
  
  Yes
  - Restore the correct connections.
  - Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to BODY VERIFICATION TEST .
  No
  - Go To 3
CHECK FOR A SHORT BETWEEN THE RIGHT FRONT TWEETER CIRCUITS
1. Check for continuity between circuits at the Right Front Tweeter harness connector.
  Was there a presence of a short between circuits in the Right Front Tweeter wiring?
  
  Yes
  - Repair the short between circuits in the Right Front Tweeter wiring.
  - Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to BODY VERIFICATION TEST .
  No
  - End of diagnosis.
