Panel, Trim, Liftgate: Removal: Removal

Open the liftgate.
With the use of trim stick (special tool #C-4755, Trim Stick) or equivalent, remove the fastener cover (1) located at the liftgate pull handle (2).
Remove the fastener under the cover (1).

With the use of trim stick (special tool #C-4755, Trim Stick) or equivalent, release the lower liftgate trim panel (1) retainers. Remove the lower liftgate trim panel (1).

Remove the rear shelf panel support cable (2).
Remove the fastener (3) and the spacer (1).
Repeat on the opposite side.

With the use of trim stick (special tool #C-4755, Trim Stick) or equivalent, release the upper liftgate trim panel (1) retainers.
Remove the upper liftgate trim panel (1).
