CAUTION:

When the timing belt is removed and the cylinder head is still installed, DO NOT rotate the camshaft or crankshaft without first locating the proper crankshaft position. Failure to do so will result in valve and/or piston damage.

  1. Remove the crankshaft sprocket (4). Refer to SPROCKET(S), TIMING BELT AND CHAIN, REMOVAL .

  2. Remove the front crankshaft seal (1).
