Lamp, Tail Stop Turn: Removal: Lamp

Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
Open the liftgate to access and remove the panel (2) that provides access to the back of the tail lamp assembly in the trough. Remove the panel by pressing the tab (1) and then pulling the panel forward.

With the panel now removed, access and remove the two bolts (1) securing the taillamp in place.

Pull the outboard side of the rear lamp unit rearward far enough to unsnap the two ball studs on the outboard side of the lamp housing from the two grommets in the quarter outer panel.
Pull the lamp away from the vehicle far enough to access and disconnect the body wire harness connector (1) from the socket plate connector receptacle on the back of the lamp housing.
