Seal, Axle Drive Shaft: Removal: Removal

  1. Drain the transmission fluid. Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE  .
  2. Remove the Half Shaft. Refer to REMOVAL .
  3. Remove the axle seal(s) by using a screw-type seal puller bit on a slide hammer.
