Diagnostic Test

- VERIFY THE DTC IS ACTIVE
- Turn the ignition on.
- Using the scan tool, read ABS DTCs.
Is the DTC active at this time?
Yes
- Go To 2
No
- Perform the NO RESPONSE FROM EVCU (ELECTRIC VEHICLE CONTROL UNIT) diagnostic procedure. Refer to NO RESPONSE FROM EVCU (ELECTRIC VEHICLE CONTROL UNIT) .
- VERIFY THAT THE ELECTRIC VEHICLE CONTROL UNIT (EVCU) IS ACTIVE ON THE BUS
- Using the scan tool, select Network Diagnostics.
- Verify that the EVCU is active on the bus.
Is the EVCU active on the bus?
Yes
- Go To 3
No
- Perform the NO RESPONSE FROM EVCU (ELECTRIC VEHICLE CONTROL UNIT) diagnostic procedure. Refer to NO RESPONSE FROM EVCU (ELECTRIC VEHICLE CONTROL UNIT) .
- ANTI-LOCK BRAKE SYSTEM (ABS) MODULE
- Turn the ignition off.
- Replace the Anti-lock Brake System (ABS) Module in accordance with the Service Information. Refer to MODULE, ANTI-LOCK BRAKE SYSTEM, REMOVAL .
- Perform the ABS VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to ABS VERIFICATION TEST .
- Turn the ignition on.
- Using the scan tool, read ABS DTCs.
Does the DTC remain active?
Yes
- Replace the Electric Vehicle Control Unit (EVCU) in accordance with service information. Refer to UNIT, ELECTRIC VEHICLE CONTROL (EVCU), REMOVAL .
- Perform the EVCU VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to EVCU VERIFICATION TEST .
No
- Test complete.
