Diagnostic Test

REGENERATIVE BRAKE CONTROLLER (RBC) 

1. The Regenerative Brake Controller (RBC) is reporting internal errors.
   NOTE:

   Before continuing, check the Regenerative Brake Controller (RBC) harness connector terminals for corrosion, damage, or terminal push out. Repair as necessary.

2. Using the schematics as a guide, inspect the wire harness and connectors. Pay particular attention to all Power and Ground circuits.
3. Perform any Technical Service Bulletins that may apply.

   Were there any problems found?

   Yes 

   • Repair as necessary.
   • Perform the RBC VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .

   No 

   • Replace and Program the Regenerative Brake Controller (RBC) in accordance with service information. Refer to CONTROLLER, REGENERATIVE BRAKE (RBC), REMOVAL .
   • Perform the RBC VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
