Section 51 (Audio/Video/Entertainment/Connectivity (Service Information) 500 - Electric): Radio: Removal: Removal

WARNING:

On vehicles equipped with the high voltage system, disconnecting the 12-volt battery negative cable alone will not power down the 12-volt system. You must perform the 12-volt Power Down procedure before proceeding. Failure to follow these instructions may result in possible serious or fatal injury.

Disconnect and isolate the 12-volt negative battery cable.
Power down the high-voltage system. Refer to ELECTRIC VEHICLE CONTROL SYSTEM, STANDARD PROCEDURE .
Remove the center instrument panel bezel. Refer to BEZEL, INSTRUMENT PANEL, CENTER, REMOVAL .

Remove the four radio bezel to instrument panel screws, and remove the radio bezel (1).

Remove the four radio to instrument panel screws (2).
While removing the radio (1), disconnect the electrical connectors.
