Section 51 (Audio/Video/Entertainment/Connectivity (Service Information) 500 - Electric): Radio: Removal: Removal

WARNING:
On vehicles equipped with the high voltage system, disconnecting the 12-volt battery negative cable alone will not power down the 12-volt system. You must perform the 12-volt Power Down procedure before proceeding. Failure to follow these instructions may result in possible serious or fatal injury.
- Disconnect and isolate the 12-volt negative battery cable.
- Power down the high-voltage system. Refer to ELECTRIC VEHICLE CONTROL SYSTEM, STANDARD PROCEDURE .
- Remove the center instrument panel bezel. Refer to BEZEL, INSTRUMENT PANEL, CENTER, REMOVAL .
- Remove the four radio bezel to instrument panel screws, and remove the radio bezel (1).
- Remove the four radio to instrument panel screws (2).
- While removing the radio (1), disconnect the electrical connectors.
