Transducer, A/C Pressure: Installation: Installation

NOTE:

Use only the specified O-ring seal, as it is made of special material for R-134a. Use only refrigerant oil of the type required for this system.

Lubricate a new rubber O-ring seal (1) with clean refrigerant oil and install it onto the A/C liquid line fitting (2).

Install the A/C pressure transducer (2) onto the A/C liquid line (3). Tighten the A/C pressure transducer to 5.1 N.m (45 in. lbs.).
Connect the wire harness connector (1) to the A/C pressure transducer.
Connect the 12-volt negative battery cable.
Power up the high-voltage system. Refer to ELECTRIC VEHICLE CONTROL SYSTEM, STANDARD PROCEDURE .
