Lamp, Dome: Removal: Bulb

WARNING:
On vehicles equipped with the high voltage system, disconnecting the 12-volt battery negative cable alone will not power down the 12-volt system. You must perform the 12-volt Power Down procedure before proceeding. Failure to follow these instructions may result in possible serious or fatal injury.
- On vehicles equipped with the high voltage system, power down the 12 volt system. Refer to ELECTRIC VEHICLE CONTROL SYSTEM, STANDARD PROCEDURE .
- Disconnect the negative 12 volt battery cable.
- Remove the dome lamp unit from the vehicle. Refer to LAMP, DOME, REMOVAL .
- If equipped, disengage the Blue And Me microphone wiring (2) from the retainer on the dome lamp back cover (1).
- Insert the tip of a small flat bladed screwdriver into the notch between the back cover and each side of the dome lamp unit housing, one side at a time.
- Gently pry the back cover inward until it unsnaps from the housing.
- Swing open the back cover to access to the dome lamp bulbs (3).
- Firmly grasp and pull the bulb straight out of the bulb holders within the dome lamp housing.
