Lamp, Cargo: Installation: Lamp

  1. Position the cargo lamp (3) close enough to the mounting hole in the rear edge of the left quarter trim panel (2) near the trunk side trim panel (1) to access and reconnect the body wire harness connector to the lamp connector receptacle.
  2. Engage the wiring and connector on the upper end of the lamp housing into the upper end of the mounting hole.
  3. Using hand pressure, press the notched lower end of the cargo lamp lens firmly and evenly into the mounting hole against the spring pressure of the latch feature until the latch snaps into place.
  4. Connect the 12 volt negative battery cable.
  5. Power up the high voltage system. Refer to ELECTRIC VEHICLE CONTROL SYSTEM, STANDARD PROCEDURE .
