Diagnostic Test

VERIFY THE DTC IS ACTIVE

Ignition on, engine not running.
With the scan tool, read DTCs and record on vehicle work order.
Is the DTC Active at this time?

Yes
- Perform the appropriate diagnostic procedure. Refer to BODY CONTROL MODULE (BCM) - DIAGNOSTIC CODE INDEX - 500 - ELECTRIC .
No
- Perform the Stored Lost Communication DTCs diagnostic procedure. Refer to STORED LOST COMMUNICATION DTCS .
