Diagnostic Test

DTC IS ACTIVE

NOTE:

If multiple DTCs are present, inspect the wiring and harness connector at the EPS Assembly.

Turn ignition on.
With the scan tool, read DTCs and record on vehicle work order.
With the scan tool, erase DTCs.
With the scan tool, read the DTCs in the EPS Module.
Is the DTC status Active?

Yes
- Perform the VEHICLE TRIM PROCEDURE. Refer to VEHICLE TRIM PROCEDURE .
No
- Test complete. The condition or conditions that originally set this DTC are not present at this time. Using the wiring diagrams as a guide, check all related splices and connectors for signs of water intrusion, corrosion, pushed out or bent terminals, and correct pin tension.
