| ELECTRIC A/C COMPRESSOR (EAC) |
On vehicles equipped with the high voltage system, you must thoroughly read and follow all High Voltage Safety procedures. In addition, before performing any diagnostic or service procedure near a high voltage component, you must perform the High Voltage Power Down. Failure to follow these instructions may result in possible serious or fatal injury.
The EAC cannot be repaired and must be replaced if found inoperative or damaged. If an internal failure of the EAC has occurred, The A/C Condenser must also be replaced.
Refer to ELECTRIC VEHICLE CONTROL SYSTEM, STANDARD PROCEDURE to perform the High Voltage Power Down procedure.
Always perform the Pre-Diagnostic Troubleshooting procedure before proceeding. Refer to PRE-DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLESHOOTING PROCEDURE .
