Diagnostic Test

- TEST FOR INTERMITTENT CONDITION
- Turn the ignition on, in ready mode.
- Using the scan tool, record and erase EAC DTCs.
- Turn the ignition off. Wait one minute.
- Turn the ignition on. Wait one minute.
- Using the scan tool, read DTCs.
Does the scan tool display this DTC as active with no other High Voltage System DTCs?
Yes
- Go To 2
No
- The condition that caused this code to set is not present at this time. Check for an intermittent condition by inspecting the related wiring harness for chafed, pierced, pinched, and partially broken wires. Also inspect the related connectors for broken, bent, pushed out, spread, corroded, or contaminated terminals.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to BODY VERIFICATION TEST .
- CHECKING HIGH VOLTAGE HARNESS CONNECTIONS
- Turn the ignition off.
- Inspect the High Voltage cables for loose or poor connections at the EAC and Power Inverter Module (PIM) harness connectors.
Are the connections OK?
Yes
- Verify proper operation of the High Voltage Battery Pack Assembly. If Battery Pack Assembly is OK, replace the EAC. Refer to COMPRESSOR, ELECTRIC AIR CONDITIONING (EAC), REMOVAL .
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to BODY VERIFICATION TEST .
No
- Repair the loose connections in accordance with the service information.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to BODY VERIFICATION TEST .
