Diagnostic Test

- CHECK IF DTC IS CURRENT
- Using the scan tool, read EVCU DTCs.
- Record the Environmental Data and any DTCs.
- Clear DTCs.
- Using the recorded Environmental Data, along with the When Monitored and Set Conditions above, operate the vehicle in the conditions that set the DTC.
- Read EVCU DTCs.
Did the DTC reset?
Yes
- Go To 2
No
- Perform the INTERMITTENT CONDITION diagnostic procedure. Refer to INTERMITTENT CONDITION
- CHECK THE BPCM DTCS
- Check the BPCM for DTCs.
Were there any BPCM DTCs?
Yes
- Refer to DIAGNOSTIC CODE INDEX and perform the appropriate diagnostic.
No
- Go To 3
- Check the BPCM for DTCs.
- CHECK THE WIRING BETWEEN THE BPCM AND HYBRID/EV BATTERY PACK COOLANT PUMP
- Using the schematics as a guide, inspect the harness, connectors, terminals and pins between the BPCM and the Hybrid/EV Battery Pack Coolant Pump.
Were there any problems found with the harness, connectors, terminals or pins between the BPCM and the Hybrid/EV Battery Pack Coolant Pump?
Yes
- Repair as necessary in accordance with the Service Information.
- Perform the EVCU VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to EVCU VERIFICATION TEST
No
- Replace the Hybrid/EV Battery Pack Coolant Pump in accordance with the Service Information. Refer to PUMP, BATTERY COOLANT, REMOVAL .
- Perform the EVCU VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to EVCU VERIFICATION TEST
- Using the schematics as a guide, inspect the harness, connectors, terminals and pins between the BPCM and the Hybrid/EV Battery Pack Coolant Pump.
