VERIFY THE DTC IS ACTIVE

Turn the ignition on.
With a scan tool, read the active DTCs.
Does the scan tool display this DTC as active?

Yes
- Refer to NO RESPONSE FROM EVCU (ELECTRIC VEHICLE CONTROL UNIT) and perform the NO RESPONSE FROM EVCU (ELECTRIC VEHICLE CONTROL UNIT) diagnostic procedure.
No
- Refer to STORED LOST COMMUNICATION DTCS and perform the STORED LOST COMMUNICATION DTCS diagnostic procedure.
