Diagnostic Test

ACTIVE DTC

NOTE:

This DTC can also be set when P0688-ASD/MAIN SENSE CIRCUIT sets in the EVCU. Diagnose any EVCU DTCs before continuing.

Turn the ignition on.
With the scan tool, record and erase BPCM DTCs.
Turn the ignition off. Wait 3 minutes.
Turn the ignition on. Wait 3 minutes.
With the scan tool, read DTCs.
Is the status Active for this DTC?

Yes
- Check all high voltage connections. If connections are OK, replace the Power Inverter Module (PIM) in accordance with the Service Information. Refer to MODULE, POWER INVERTER (PIM), REMOVAL .
- Perform the BATTERY PACK CONTROL MODULE (BPCM) VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to BPCM VERIFICATION TEST .
No
- The condition or conditions that originally set this DTC are not present at this time. Perform the INTERMITTENT CONDITION diagnostic procedure. Refer to INTERMITTENT CONDITION .
