The Battery Pack Control Module (BPCM) detects a loss of internal LIN Bus communication. With one current sensor fault the EVS lamp is illuminated but vehicle operation is not affected during the current drive cycle. With two or more current sensor faults, the EVS lamp is illuminated, vehicle power is limited and vehicle is disabled at the next drive cycle.
