Theory Of Operation

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2015 Fiat 500. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

The Body Control Module (BCM) receives the input from the Lower Switch Bank indicating that fog lamp illumination is requested. The BCM provides a ground path through the front fog lamps relay control circuit. The front fog lamps relay control circuit connects to the Fog Lamps Relay, which when energized provides battery voltage to the Front Fog Lamps. The Fog Lamp Relay is located in the Power Distribution Center. For additional information on the Fog Lamp operation. Refer to FRONT FOG LAMPS .
