Standard equipment in all Instrument Clusters (IC) (also known as the Instrument Panel Cluster/IPC), the analog speedometer scale is located just inside the upper inner radius of the indicator ring of the IC. The speedometer consists of a movable gauge needle or pointer controlled by the IC electronic circuitry through an electronic stepper motor, and a fixed 185 degree scale within the IC that reads left-to-right either from 0 to 220 km/h, or from 0 to 140 mph, depending upon the market for which the vehicle is manufactured.
