Diagnostic Test

- VERIFY THE DTC IS ACTIVE
- Turn the ignition on.
- Using the scan tool, read RBC DTCs.
Is the DTC active at this time?
Yes
- Go To 2
No
- Perform the NO RESPONSE FROM BCM (BODY CONTROL MODULE) diagnostic procedure. Refer to NO RESPONSE FROM BCM (BODY CONTROL MODULE) .
- VERIFY THAT THE BODY CONTROL MODULE (BCM) IS ACTIVE ON THE BUS
- Using the scan tool, select Network Diagnostics.
- Verify that the BCM is active on the bus.
Is the BCM active on the bus?
Yes
- Go To 3
No
- Perform the NO RESPONSE FROM BCM (BODY CONTROL MODULE) diagnostic procedure. Refer to NO RESPONSE FROM BCM (BODY CONTROL MODULE) .
- REGENERATIVE BRAKE CONTROLLER (RBC)
- Turn the ignition off.
- Replace the Regenerative Brake Controller (RBC) in accordance with service information. Refer to CONTROLLER, REGENERATIVE BRAKE (RBC), REMOVAL .
- Perform the RBC VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to RBC VERIFICATION TEST .
- Turn the ignition on.
- Using the scan tool, read RBC DTCs.
Does the DTC remain active?
Yes
- Replace the Body Control Module (BCM) in accordance with service information. Refer to MODULE, BODY CONTROL, REMOVAL .
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to BODY CONTROL MODULE (BCM) - BODY VERIFICATION TEST - 500 - ELECTRIC .
No
- Test complete.
