Diagnostic Test

CHECK FOR AN INTERMITTENT CONDITION
1. Using the scan tool, record and erase the CTM DTCs.
2. Cycle the ignition switch from on to off, wait five seconds and then back to on.
3. Attempt to pair the phone in accordance with the owner's manual.
4. Using the scan tool, read the active CTM DTCs.
  Does the scan tool display active: B1006-00-INTERNAL ERROR - BLUETOOTH CHIPSET ERROR?
  
  Yes
  - Go To 2
  No
  - Test complete, the condition or conditions that originally set this DTC are not present at this time. Using the wiring diagrams as a guide, check all related splices and connectors for signs of water intrusion, corrosion, pushed out or bent terminals and correct pin tension.
  - Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to BODY CONTROL MODULE (BCM) - BODY VERIFICATION TEST - 500 - EXCEPT ELECTRIC .
CHECK THE CELL PHONE COMPATIBILITY
1. Using a reference guide verify the phone is compatible with the system.
  Does the phone appear as compatible on the reference list?
  
  Yes
  - Replace the Convergence Telematics Module in accordance with the Service Information. Refer to MODULE, CONVERGENCE TELEMATICS, REMOVAL .
  - Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to BODY CONTROL MODULE (BCM) - BODY VERIFICATION TEST - 500 - EXCEPT ELECTRIC .
  No
  - Test complete, the cell phone is not currently compatible with the Blue & Me™ system.
