Differential, Transaxle: Disassembly: Disassembly

  1. Remove right side differential bearing (1) using Bridge (special tool #938, Bridge) (2) in combination with Bearing Remover (special tool #9678, Press Plug) and Crankshaft Insert (special tool #8513A, Insert, Crankshaft).

  2. Remove left side differential bearing using Bearing Puller (special tool #5048, Puller, Bearing).

  3. Remove the ring gear bolts from the differential case, do not reuse the bolts.
  4. Remove the ring gear from the case.
