Shaft, Output: Disassembly: Disassembly

  1. Remove the fourth speed driven gear using (special tool #P-334, Splitter, Bearing).
  2. Remove the fourth gear to third gear spacer.

  3. Remove the spacer sleeve.

  4. Remove the third and second driven gears using (special tool #P-334, Splitter, Bearing).

  5. Remove the first/second gear synchronizer and slider ring (1).

  6. Remove the needle bearing from the shaft.

  7. Remove the snap ring (1).

  8. Remove the first driven gear and the first/second synchronizer hub using (special tool #P-334, Splitter, Bearing).

  9. Remove the needle bearing from the shaft.
  10. Using a die grinder or the equivalent, cut 2 grooves in the rear bearing race 180° apart.
  11. Remove the rear bearing race from the shaft using (special tool #P-334, Splitter, Bearing).
