Without A/C

NOTE:

A supplied belt installer tool must be used to aid in proper installation of the belt. Failure to use the tool may result in damage to the belt.

  1. Install the accessory drive belt (1) around the alternator (4).
  2. Position the belt onto the vibration dampener (3).
  3. Position the belt installer tool (2) between the belt and vibration dampener.

  4. Rotate the crankshaft clockwise until the belt is properly seated onto the vibration dampener.
  5. Install the inner wheel splash shield.
  6. Install the right front wheel.
  7. Lower vehicle.
  8. Connect the negative battery cable.
