Diagnostic Test

IN PLANT TEST FAILURE
1. Turn the ignition on.
  NOTE:
  This DTC is set when the APP Sensors are learned in plant but do not reach the Minimum or Maximum voltage range.
2. With a scan tool, read DTCs.
3. With the scan tool, erase DTCs.
4. Start the engine.
5. With the scan tool, read DTCs.
  Is the DTC active or pending?
  
  Yes
  - Go To 2
  No
  - Perform the INTERMITTENT CONDITION diagnostic procedure. Refer to INTERMITTENT CONDITION .
APP Sensor RELEARN
1. With a scan tool and perform the Reset Accelerator Pedal Adaptives routine.
2. Next, erase DTCs.
3. Start the engine.
  Does the DTC return?
  
  Yes
  - Replace the APP Sensor Assembly in accordance with the Service Information. Refer to PEDAL, ACCELERATOR, REMOVAL . After installation is complete, use a scan tool and perform the Reset Accelerator Pedal Adaptives routine.
  - Perform the POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST .
  No
  - Test Complete.
