Diagnostic Test

CHECK FOR AN ACTIVE DTC

NOTE:

Diagnose any system low voltage DTCs before continuing.

Ignition on, vehicle in ready mode.
With the scan tool, program the module.
With the scan tool, read DTCs.
Does the DTC reset?

Yes
- Replace and program the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) in accordance with the Service Information. Refer to MODULE, POWERTRAIN CONTROL, REMOVAL and PROGRAM THE PCM (POWERTRAIN CONTROL MODULE) .
- Perform the POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST .
No
- Test is complete.
- Perform the POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST .
