Lamp, License Plate: Installation: Installation

- Position the license plate lamp (3) to the underside of the liftgate light bar and handle unit (1).
- Reconnect the light bar wire harness connector to the connector receptacle on the top of the lamp housing.
- Align the base of the lamp housing with the receptacle in the underside of the light bar.
- Engage the fixed tab on the end of the lamp housing opposite the latch tab (2) into one end of the light bar receptacle.
- Push the latch tab end of the lamp housing up into the light bar receptacle until the latch tab snaps into place.
- Connect the 12 volt negative battery cable.
- Power up the high voltage system. Refer to ELECTRIC VEHICLE CONTROL SYSTEM, STANDARD PROCEDURE .
