  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the radio buttons (1) using a Trim Stick (special tool #C-4755, Trim Stick) or equivalent.

  3. Insert radio tool (special tool #10322A, Remover, Radio) or equivalent.
  4. Gently wiggle radio back and forth while pulling out.

  5. Disconnect the radio electrical connectors (1).
    CAUTION:

    Pulling the antenna cable straight out of the radio without pulling on the locking antenna connector could damage the cable or radio.

  6. Disconnect the antenna connector(s) (2) and remove from the vehicle.
