Diagnostic Test

- CHECK IF DTC IS CURRENT
- Using the scan tool, read EVCU DTCs.
- Record the Environmental Data and any DTCs.
- Clear DTCs.
- Using the recorded Environmental Data, along with the When Monitored and Set Conditions above, operate the vehicle in the conditions that set the DTC.
- Read EVCU DTCs.
Did the DTC reset?
Yes
- Go To 2
No
- Perform the INTERMITTENT CONDITION diagnostic procedure. Refer to INTERMITTENT CONDITION .
- CHECK THE POWER ELECTRONICS COOLING SYSTEM
- Turn the ignition off.
- Check the Power Electronics Cooling System for low coolant level.
- Check the Power Electronics Cooling System for coolant contamination.
- Check the Power Electronics Cooling System for restricted air flow.
Was any of the above problems found in the Power Electronics Cooling System?
Yes
- Repair as necessary in accordance with the Service Information.
- Perform the EVCU VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to EVCU VERIFICATION TEST .
No
- Replace the Power Electronics Cooling Pump in accordance with the Service Information. Refer to PUMP, POWER ELECTRONICS COOLANT, REMOVAL .
- Perform the EVCU VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to EVCU VERIFICATION TEST .
