Install the gearshift assembly.
Install the nuts and bolt. Tighten the fasteners to 16 N.m (12 ft. lbs.).

Install the cable retention clips (1) to the gearshift assembly.

Attach the selector cable end (1) and shift cable end (2) to the gearshift assembly.
Adjust the gearshift cable. Refer to ADJUSTMENTS .

Install the gearshift housing. Refer to BEZEL, SHIFTER, INSTALLATION .
Install the gearshift boot to the bezel.
