Bearing, Clutch Release: Installation: Installation

NOTE:

Verify that the release bearing is snapped into the release fork and not sitting on top of it.

Lubricate the crankshaft pilot bearing and the input shaft splines with Mopar® high temperature bearing grease or equivalent.
Install the new release bearing (1) and secure to the release fork.

Ensure that the release fork fingers (1) and the retention tabs (2) on the release bearing are correctly oriented.
Install the transmission. For C510 Manual Transmission, refer to REMOVAL . For C514 Manual Transmission, refer to REMOVAL .
