Module, Body Control: Installation: Installation

- Position the Body Control Module (BCM) (2) into the vehicle and connect the two electrical connectors on the back of the module.
- Position the BCM in the bracket (3).NOTE:
It will be necessary to position the bracket downward when installing the BCM.
CAUTION:Do not distort the BCM bracket in excess, when repositioning.
- Install, and tighten the three fasteners (1) that secure the BCM to the mounting bracket; two on the top, and one on the bottom.
- Connect the four electrical connectors (1) on the front side of the BCM (2).
- Position the fuse box cover; install the two fasteners, and tighten.
- Install the driver knee blocker (2). Refer to AIR BAG, KNEE BLOCKER, INSTALLATION .
- Install the driver side close out panel (1).
- Connect the negative battery cable.
