Indicator, Battery Charge: Removal: Removal

NOTE:

It is necessary to remove the radio to access the battery charge indicator (BCI) electrical connector.

  1. Remove the radio. Refer to RADIO, REMOVAL .
  2. With the radio removed, reach through the opening and unplug the BCI connector.

  3. Using special tool (special tool #C-4755, Trim Stick) release the retainers at the four areas indicated (1, 2). Lift the BCI straight up and out of the dash pad.
