Handle, Front Recliner: Removal: Removal

NOTE:

Before proceeding with the following procedure, review all Warnings and Cautions. Refer to WARNING  .

NOTE:

Passenger seat shown in illustration. Driver seat similar.

  1. Remove the front seat being serviced and place it on a workbench. Refer to SEAT, FRONT, REMOVAL  .
  2. Using Trim Stick (special tool #C-4755, Trim Stick) or equivalent, remove the trim cap (1) from the seat back recliner lever (2).

  3. Remove the screw (1) and washer (2) that secure the seat back recliner lever (3) to the seat and remove the lever.
