Diagnostic Test

- VERIFY THE DTC IS ACTIVE NOTE:
This DTC must be active for the results of this test to be valid.
- Turn the ignition on.
- With the scan tool, read and record DTCs.
- With the scan tool, read and record Freeze Fame information.
- With the scan tool, erase DTCs.
- Start the engine.
- Press the brake pedal firmly and release.
- With the scan tool, read and record DTCs.
Is the DTC active at this time?
Yes
- Go To 2
No
- Perform ABS-INTERMITTENT CONDITION TEST. Refer to ABS INTERMITTENT CONDITION .
- POWER CIRCUIT OPEN OR SHORTED
- Turn the ignition off.
- Disconnect the Dynamics Sensor harness connector.
- Using a 12-volt test light connected to ground, check the Fused B(+) circuit.
Does the test light illuminate brightly?
Yes
- Go To 3
No
- Repair the Fused B(+) circuit for an open or short.
- Perform the ABS VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to ABS VERIFICATION TEST .
- GROUND CIRCUIT OPEN
- Using a 12-volt test light connected to 12-volts, check the (Z910) Ground circuit.
Does the test light illuminate brightly?
Yes
- Replace the Dynamics Sensor in accordance with the Service Information. Refer to SENSOR, DYNAMICS, REMOVAL .
- Perform the ABS VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to ABS VERIFICATION TEST .
No
- Repair the Ground circuit for an open.
- Perform the ABS VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to ABS VERIFICATION TEST .
- Using a 12-volt test light connected to 12-volts, check the (Z910) Ground circuit.
