  1. Drain the transmission fluid into a clean container. Refer to FLUID, STANDARD PROCEDURE .
  2. Remove the halfshaft. Refer to REMOVAL .
  3. Remove the seal (1) from the transmission using a screwdriver or equivalent (2).
