Set Condition

The Occupant Restraint Controller (ORC) monitors the resistance of the Driver Seat Belt Tensioner (Retractor) circuits. The ORC will set this DTC if it detects low resistance on the Driver Seat Belt Tensioner (Retractor) circuits for 2.6 seconds. The DTC will change from active to stored when the ORC monitoring shows the shorted together fault is gone for 2.6 seconds. The multifunction indicator lamp (MIL) will set in the instrument cluster.
