Bearing, Clutch Release: Removal: Removal

- Remove the transmission. For turbo engines, refer to REMOVAL . For non-turbo engines, refer to REMOVAL .
- Disconnect release bearing (1) from release fork and remove the bearing.
- Inspect release fork and fork pivot bushings. Be sure pivot bushings are in good condition. Ensure that the fork is not distorted or worn. Replace release fork if bent or damaged.
