Pick-Up, Oil Pump: Removal: Removal

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the oil pan. Refer to PAN, OIL, REMOVAL .
  3. Remove the bolts (2) from the oil pick-up tube and remove the oil pick-up tube (1) from the oil pump.

  4. Remove and discard the O-ring seal (1) from the oil pump.
