Valves, Intake And Exhaust: Inspection: Inspection: Valves

- Inspect the valves for wear or damage. Install new valves as necessary.
- Inspect the retainer lock grooves for wear or damage (2). Install new valve if necessary.
- Inspect the valve face (4) for wear and pitting. Install new valve if necessary.
- Measure the valve stems (3) and margins (5) for wear. Refer to ENGINE SPECIFICATIONS . Install new valve if necessary.
