Set Condition

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2015 Fiat 500. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

This code will set, if the ORC and the Front Left Impact Sensor (Early Crash Sensor) do not establish and maintain valid data communications. The DTC will become Active after the fault has set for a minimum of 100 milliseconds (ms). The DTC will go to Stored after the ORC Front Left Impact Sensor (Early Crash Sensor) communication fault has been removed or the suspect front impact sensor has been replaced. The clearing of this fault is immediate upon the suspect internal error being removed or the suspect sensor replaced. The Multifunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) will set in the instrument cluster.
