Full Open Retractable Roof, Power: Spoiler: Removal: Removal

NOTE:

NOTE: Sunshade is held in place by rear seatbacks. No fastener removal is required.

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable
  2. Remove the rear window sunshade (1) if equipped. Push down the rear seat release buttons, located at the outboard top of the seatbacks and move the seatbacks to their folded-down position in order to remove the rear window sunshade.

  3. Remove the grab handle bracket (1) from the rear window package tray (3) by removing the three retaining fasteners (2).

  4. Remove the three retaining clips (2) in order to remove the rear window package tray (1).

  5. Remove the sides of the headliner (1) from the rear window side retaining channels.
  6. Repeat on the opposite side.
  7. Pull back the rear headliner sail panels (1) in order to access the rear upper headliner (2).

  8. Remove the upper headliner (1) from the rear window upper retaining channel.

  9. Unclip the spoiler wiring harness connector (2) from the spoiler reinforcement.
  10. Disconnect the wiring connector (2).

  11. Place an assistant outside the vehicle to hold the spoiler.
  12. Along the top of the spoiler reinforcement (2), remove the four spoiler fasteners (1). Do not remove the lower spoiler reinforcement fasteners (3).

  13. From outside the vehicle, remove the spoiler harness grommet and pull the harness through the hole in the cover.
  14. Remove the spoiler assembly (1) from the cover.
