Dual Mass Flywheel

NOTE:

Do not reuse the bolts that hold the flywheel to crankshaft. Always install new bolts when flywheel removal is required.

NOTE:

When the transmission is separated from the engine you must reset the Dual Mass Flywheel before installation.

Refer to FLYWHEEL, STANDARD PROCEDURE .

Remove the transmission. Refer to REMOVAL .

NOTE:
It may be necessary to install an appropriate length 10 MM bolt, washer and nut in place of the supplied 12 MM fastener.
Remove the bolts (1) holding the flywheel to the crankshaft and remove flywheel assembly.
Separate the flywheel from the crankshaft flange and remove the flywheel from the vehicle.
