Dual Mass Flywheel

NOTE:

Do not reuse the bolts that hold the flywheel to crankshaft. Always install new bolts when flywheel removal is required.

NOTE:

Reset the Dual Mass Flywheel before installation. Refer to FLYWHEEL, STANDARD PROCEDURE .

Place and hold flywheel in position on the back of the engine and align flywheel to the 7.2 mm (0.283 in) (2) non-threaded hole in the crankshaft flange.
Install new bolts to hold flywheel (1) l to the crankshaft flange.

NOTE:
Typical installation of 10272 shown.
Install (special tool #10272, Tool, Flywheel Locking)
NOTE:
It may be necessary to install an appropriate length 10 MM bolt, washer and nut in place of the supplied 12 MM fastener.
Tighten the flywheel bolts in a crossing pattern. Refer to SPECIFICATIONS .
Install the transmission. Refer to INSTALLATION .
