Low Lubricant Level

Insufficient transaxle lubricant is usually the result of:

Fluid leaks.
Inaccurate fluid level check or refill method.
Porosity in the transaxle castings.

NOTE:

For leaks that are difficult to pinpoint, tracer dye can be added to the lubricant to aid in detecting the origin of the leak. Tracer dye becomes luminous under black light.
