Valve, Surge: Installation: Installation

Install the surge vale into the turbocharger housing.

Install the three bolts (1). Tighten the bolts and the nuts to 9 N.m (80 in. lbs.)
Connect the surge valve connector (2).

Install the upper heat shield.
Install the new nuts (2) and the three bolts (1). Tighten to 9 N.m (80 in. lbs.)

Install the air cleaner assembly (1)
Connect the two vacuum fittings (4), tighten the clamp (3) at the air to turbocharger inlet tube.
Connect the fresh air intake hose (2).
