Tube, Mechanism: Removal: Removal

Remove the headliner. Refer to HEADLINER, REMOVAL .
Remove the sunshade (1). Refer to SUNSHADE, SUNROOF, REMOVAL .

Remove the sunroof motor (1). Refer to MOTOR, SUNROOF, REMOVAL .

Remove the fasteners (1) from the mechanism tube (2).
Repeat on the opposite side.

Disconnect the wiring connectors (3) for the antenna.
Unfasten the connections (3) from the vehicle.
Remove the fastener (2) from the mechanism tube mount (1).

With the help of an assistant, remove the mechanism tube (3) releasing it from the bowden/drive cables (1) in the guides (2).
Remove the mechanism tube (3) from the vehicle.
