Hinge, Hood: Removal: Removal

With the help of an assistant, have the assistant hold the opposite side of hood that is being worked on.
Remove the hood (3). Refer to HOOD, REMOVAL .
Remove the cowl panel. Refer to COVER, COWL PANEL, REMOVAL .

With the use of a grease pencil or equivalent, mark the hinge location to the body (1).
Remove the hood hinge fasteners (2).
Remove the hinge (1) from the vehicle.
